Its a time of the year when we all audit of what went well and what we should be looking forward to.<\/p>\n

3 questions<\/strong> that I’m going to answer to review my self.<\/p>\n

  1. What went well this year?<\/li>\n
  2. What didn’t go so well this year?<\/li>\n
  3. What am I working toward?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. What went well this year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Writing: <\/strong>I have written 70 articles this year. Target was to write at least 2 articles in a week. Had started this ritual from July of 2014 and have followed it and tried to make it as a habit. Have missed just 2 days but still have kept going on.<\/p>\n

    Exercise:<\/strong> Daily exercise for 30 mins except on Sundays was the goal. Have followed it quite well. There we many days (some times weeks) when I had missed the workout. But this didn’t discourage me and have started it again where I left out.<\/p>\n

    Read Books:<\/strong> Had plan to read minimum a books a month. Had a fun time reading various books and have blogged\u00a0about the same after reading it.<\/p>\n

    Eliminate:<\/strong> I have tried to eliminate what ever is not helping me moving forward to achieve my goals. Tried to cultivate and learn skills to say NO when necessary. Still working on this.<\/p>\n

    2. What didn’t go so well this year?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Creating new Apps:<\/strong> Have not worked on any new apps or products this year. Will love to create some new web app. Still looking for a idea which ignites passion to code for. If you have any do let me know.<\/p>\n

    Giving time to family and friends:<\/strong> Due to the nature of my work, I am hardly able to give time to my family or my friends. I Need to change that on priority basis.<\/p>\n

    Travel more:<\/strong> Last year I had traveled quite few places. But will love to travel more. May be traveling with family or friends or even alone if possible.<\/p>\n

    3. What am I working toward?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Getting more organized:<\/strong> I would like to be organized even if the environment and work around me is in chaos. As its very easy to be organized in normal schedule. Its only when all hell break loose that it all matters.<\/p>\n

    Going on long walks:<\/strong> I am trying to cultivate this habit of walking may be with my loved ones or even if necessary alone.<\/p>\n

    Be Creative:<\/strong> I would like to do some creative work. May be start to draw or anything else which turns on my creative side. Also I am thinking of doing more with less and restrictive environments.<\/p>\n

    As I have shared before I am not a expert and still trying to figure out many things myself. Have improved my life and way of thinking in 2014 and I am looking forward for new adventures and learning in 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
