\"TWRP-Recovery\"<\/a>TWRP is the most used Recovery Manager. Its much easier to use with a better and easy UI. Most of the latest ROM works using TWRP\u00a0Recovery Manager.<\/p>\n

Following are the steps to install TWRP Recovery Manager:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Download\u00a0a TWRP recovery .img file<\/strong> compatible for your device. For Mi 3 click here to download\u00a0twrp-2.8.7.0-cancro<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Setup ADB and Fastboot on your PC, follow this link <\/i><\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. Enable USB debugging on your device:<\/li>\n
  4. \n
      \n
    • Open Settings<\/em> on your device.<\/li>\n
    • Go to About phone and tap seven times on\u00a0Build number<\/em>, this will enable Developer options.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Now go back to Settings and you\u2019ll see \u201cDeveloper options\u201d<\/em>there, open it.<\/li>\n
    • Tick the USB Debugging<\/strong> checkbox.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Open the folder where your TWRP Recovery .img file is saved.<\/li>\n
    • Now open a command window inside that\u00a0folder. To do that,\u201cShift + Right click\u201d<\/strong> on any empty white space inside the folder and then\u00a0select \u201cOpen command window here\u201d<\/strong> from the context menu.<\/li>\n
    • Connect your device to the PC. And type the following into the command window we opened in step 4 above to boot your device into bootloader\/fastboot mode<\/strong>:\n
      adb reboot bootloader<\/pre>\n
      If your asks for permission to \u201cAllow USB debugging\u201d, tap OK.<\/li>\n
    • Once your device boots into bootloader mode, issue the following command into command window to flash the TWRP recovery .img file:\n
      fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.x.x-xxx.img<\/pre>\n
      Here modify twrp.img<\/em> with the name of your TWRP recovery .img file,\u00a0OR change your TWRP\u00a0recovery filename to twrp.img<\/em> and use the command above.<\/li>\n
    • Once TWRP is successfully flashed on your device, issue the following command to reboot:\n
      fastboot reboot<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      Now\u00a0you should have TWRP installed, you can check it by booting into recovery manager by holding power + volume down button.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
