Moving away from Google App Engine

Google App Engine was good for small project, but the recent changes in the pricing policy have made many small app expensive to maintain.  If you have more than 1000 users then you will run out of the free resources within few hrs.

This is the primary reason we have moved Namaaztracker.com out of Google App Engine and recode again in PHP. It’s now much faster and we feel much more in control both code + infrastructure point of view. Coding in Python with Google App Engine was fun .. but it’s not financially viable any more.

Namaaztracker.com was in development for more than a year, but we manage to port 80% of the features back in PHP within a week. We are really proud of our team to achieve this mammoth task in such a short period of time.

So we are back up no more server/quota issues. Enjoy Namaaztracker.com and we are really thankful to all our customers for giving us support and love at such a critical time when our site was down most of the time for full one week. It is because of your love and support that encourage us to port it so fast.

How to load game from usb for Wii

This is just for educational purpose.

This work only after Homebrew Channel is install, for instruction on how to install Homebrew Channel click here.

You will require 2 softwares:

1.Download USB Loader GX (2.0 r1037) from HERE

2. WBFS Manager from HERE. (64-bit version of WBFS Manager, download from HERE; if you need MAC download HERE. )

 

Steps of installing:

1. Adding Software in Wii first:

  1. USB Loader GX – Quick install information; after using WinRar, 7-Zip, or RarZilla to extract the USBLoaderGX rar file, there will be a number of folders that are to be copied to the SD card.
  2. Copy the USBLoaderGX folder to the Apps folder on your SD card. This is the homebrew app version of USB Loader GX and will run from the HBC menu.
  3. Wad folder-in the wad folder will be two files; to run USB Loader GX as a channel, copy the file usually named USB Loader GX rXXX-ULNR.wad to the wad folder on your SD card. Install this wad using Wad Manager.
  4. Copy the folders named codes, config, images, and txtcodes unchanged to the Root directory of your SD card. Note that the images folders are where you will store game cover art.

 

2. WBFS Manager

After downloading run the setup and install the software. Run the Software and attach a usb HDD or atleast 4GB USB . The USB drive which you are going to use will be reserved for Wii and you will not be able to use it on a PC.

Now Click the Refesh Drive List and select the USB drive on which you will load the ISO.

Click on format and format the USB so that its now ready to be used as Wii USB drive.

Once Formatted load the drive.

On the right side choose the ISO which you want to load and transfer it back to USB.

Once done remove the USB and attach it to Wii.

 

Select USB Loader GX from home screen and you will see the games. Select a game to play. You can also download covers for the game. Enjoy :)

How to Hack Wii in simple steps

This is just for educational purpose.

The easiest way to hack Wii 4.3 version is to do it using Letter Bomb.

You will need:

  • A Wii running System Menu 4.3 (E/U/J/K)
  • A SD(HC) card with some free space
  • Your Wii’s WiFi MAC Address (available from your Wii’s system settings). This is needed because the Wii will only accept messagesaddressed to its specific MAC address.

1. Go to your Wii’s home screen and click the Wii Options button. Once it loads, choose Wii Settings. From there, navigate to the second page and click the Internet button. Finally, click the Console Information button and you’ll have your Wii’s MAC address. Either write this down or just leave it up on your screen. visit http://please.hackmii.com and input your MAC address of your Wii and this will generate a LetterBomb.zip file that will start downloading.
2. Now unzip the LetterBomb.zip and copy the content of it to directly to the root folder of your SD card. Eject the SD card and insert it in your Wii.
3. Open Wii Message Center and you might need to go to few days back and then your will see the Message bomb. Its a image of bomb which you cannot miss. Open it will ask you take a red or blue pill click any it doesnt matter.
4. Once LetterBomb has done its thing, it’ll tell you to press 1 to continue. Do that and you’ll be able to use your WiiMote to start installing things. Install BootMii and the Homebrew Channel.
Once Homebrew Channel is install you can start adding apps which will help you to run games from USB.
