\"influence\"<\/a>Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Dr. Robert B. Cialdini is a book on how we get fooled by various tricks of Influences. Its a classic book on psychology of why people say “yes”.<\/p>\n

He discuss following universal principal of\u00a0Influences:
\n1. Reciprocation<\/strong> : We always reciprocate with gifts \/ favor we receive.
\n2. Commitment \/ Consistency<\/strong> : We tend to keep our promises and tend to keep our consistence perception in mind of others.
\n3. Social proof<\/strong> : We tend to look around and be a part of crowd to make easy decision making.
\n4. Liking<\/strong> : \u00a0If we like people we get easily agree to him\/her even if they are wrong.
\n5. Authority<\/strong> : We feel a sense of duty or obligation to people in positions of authority.
\n6. Scarcity<\/strong> : This principle says that things are more attractive when their availability is limited.<\/p>\n

You have to read and understand many concepts, hence it was not a easy read. It took me more than 20 days to read this book, but it was worth it.<\/p>\n
