Short version: Qari collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no ads. Your recordings stay on your phone. Applies to Qari on iPhone and Android. Last updated 15 October 2026.
Qari needs the microphone to hear your recitation. Recording and speech recognition happen entirely on your device. Audio is never uploaded, stored on a server, or shared with anyone, including us.
To show your progress, Qari keeps a log of your recitations (the surah, the ayahs and the words it heard) and your settings. It also keeps your 20 most recent recordings, the oldest removed as you recite, so you can play them back and so recognition problems can be diagnosed on your phone. All of this is stored only on your phone, is never sent anywhere by Qari, and is deleted when you delete the app. You can clear the log at any time from the Progress page. If you choose Export Progress there, Qari creates a file of the log and hands it to the place you pick in the share sheet (for example Files or AirDrop); we never receive it. Import Progress reads such a file back in.
None. Qari has no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not receive any personal data from the app.
Qari makes a few downloads, none of which carry your recordings or personal data:
Like any web request, these servers can see your IP address. Their own privacy policies apply.
Qari is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Questions: solutions@reliablesoftwares.com.
