Extend Apple Watch battery life to 2x

You know me, I get really frustrated by any tech which needs to be charged regularly :). I love Apple Watch but to charge it every day is a little bit too much for me. So I have come up with the following settings by which you can extend the life of the watch by at least 2 days:

  1. Turn to Grayscale Mode: Apple watch has a gorgeous OLED screen with vibrant colors but it also takes a lot of power. Turn on Grayscale mode by heading to General > Accessibility.
  2. Turn off always-on display mode: Always-on display mode is the next big battery sucker. Go to Display & Brightness and tap Always On to turn the feature on or off.
  3. Disable Wake on Wrist Raise: This one feature was very hard to leave but I was surprised by how much battery gains I could get from turning it off. Go to Settings > General > Wake Screen and toggle off ‘Wake Screen on Wrist Raise’.
  4. Turn off Siri: I hardly use Siri so it is better to turn it off or keep it on by holding the crown button. You can turn it off by going to the Siri menu of the General section in the Settings app on your Apple Watch.

By doing these 4 changes I have increased the battery life of the watch by 2x, without compromising on most of the other features. Try it out and let me know your feedbacks.
